I spent the last year living a nightmare involving CPS, restraining orders, countless open investigations spanning across state lines, assault rifles, and my private life plastered across news channels nationwide. I’ve had to relocate, change my phone number and attempt to rebuild my life from a series of events that horror movies are made of.
I made unexpected friendships along the way including countless other LEO wives and families whose suffering is much worse than ours. The only difference is their living hell hasn’t made it across news headlines…yet.
If you think our spouse's agencies will help us, you're absolutely wrong. We're trapped in a life of absolute hell, surrounded by a brotherhood refusing to “break the line” if one of us dares to escape or break our silence. I’m proud to say that I’m one of the exceptions. I finally escaped and I refuse to hide behind my silence anymore.
